A Wonderful Life

I so love Harvest Moon. There's something very relaxing about running a farm and growing your own produce, even if it's all virtual. I chose Nami out of the three potential brides for her spunk and intelligence, because 30 years is a long time to be spending with someone who won't engage your interest. So here's the happy couple with their kid and dog. I can't wait to play more.

Pencils and inks on paper, colours in Photoshop 5.5. It's been a while since I've done a proper BG for my pics, but I'm a little out of practice, so this one came out less detailed than I wanted. I tried to CG the buildings in the game, but it's really difficult without a handy reference (that's not on my TV screen). And I know that cherry trees don't technically appear in the landscape, but hey, it's a Japanese game, right? XD
